Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely due to acute gastritis. In such case warm water bag application and antacids will help.If not improving then in such case in my patients i advise proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole for short duration and domperidone if any nausea or vomiting is there. If any chest discomfort is there then an ECG should be taken to rule out any cardiac cause.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
It is possible that you may have gastritis which is inflammation of the stomach.
Diarrhea may also develop since you are feeling abdominal cramps and the urge to go to the bathroom.
You may want to do the following: (1)avoid any spicy/fatty/fried/acidic foods. Use small amounts of dry foods. If this is not tolerated then use liquids for today
(2)if vomiting and/or diarrhea start it would be important to use enough fluids to prevent dehydrations
(3)probiotics would also help
(4)there is medication available that would help reduce the burning and nausea eg peptobismol, dramamine (would help nausea), pepcid
I hope this helps
