Suggest Treatment For Chronic Arthritis And Body Pain
My 86 year old mom suffers from chronic arthritis along with type 2diabetes. Of late she has been experiencking a great deal of pain all over her body but mainly in her neck, shoulders, legs, ankles, and now her right foot. She has also had a recent bout with lymphadema. She has had cortisone shots and is taking two kinds fo pain pills. Might it be worth it to try snapple?
Hello Thank you for writing to us on Health care Magic. Based on your history the response to your question is as follows. 1. Snapple - especially fresh juices and green tea would be helpful. However, in view of diabetes, need to look into calories consumed, so that hyperglycemia does not occur. 2. Pain all over the body, requires evaluation for calcium deficiency, anemia and hypothyroidism. 3. Will require evaluation with complete hemogram, serum calcium level and thyroid hormone profile 4. Need to start with calcium supplements. Based on test, further treatment can be started. Continue with other medications. Hope this is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions. Thank you
