okay well ive had a cold for about 3 weeks now... constant stuffy/runny nose and headachs, constant cough and lots of mucus... but starting yesterday i noticed that i have a constant yellowish colored eye discharge.... what should i do to help my cold issues

From history it seems that you might be having bacterial infection in upper respiratory tract infection with muco-purulant conjunctivitis giving rise yellow discharge.
you might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
Put antibiotic eye drops every 3-4 hourly after cleaning with warm water.
Ok and take care.
