General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

This can be due to viral or bacterial infection where in the body's mechanism or the treatment you have taken settled the fever. I would advise you to have a proper clinical evaluation by your doctor. Get tests of blood and throat swab and X-ray of chest. Any other investigations as would be advised after settlement. All these will give a better idea about a possible diagnosis so that symptomatic and supportive treatment can be prescribed by your doctor like decongestant, antibiotic and anything that is needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
