Suggest Treatment For Cystic Acne
Iam suffering from Systic ance on my cheeks and back for 10 years.Iam using doxycyline tablet for 10 years to control the problem .but this tablet not giving much relief for my problem especially for the systic acne and redness on my face? Can you suggest any advanced treatment for me? What is Cortizone injection ?Where in India I can get the Injection?

Understanding your concern.
As per your query you have symptoms of cystic acne on cheeks and back for 10 years which is severest form of acne. Pimple occur when a pore in your skin gets clogged, usually with dead skin cells. Exfoliate gently once or twice a day with a salicylic acid-based exfoliant. Cortisone is a steroid and you can get it done from any good dermatologist only after proper prescription as steroids have harmful effect too. Apply benzoyl peroxide cream or gel for killing the bacteria in the pore. Wash your face using a mild soap or cleanser and lukewarm water. If condition doesn't improve in a week then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotics like clindamycin , Isotretinoin or Hormone Therapy.
