Suggest Treatment For Hemorrhoids

I had an iud replaced in Dec. I went to Dr a week ago and. My body was trying to reject it. The dr readjusted it. Very painful. Now I have hemorrhoids I have never experienced hemorrhoids but it is external hard purple/ black. What should I do

Some advices that I can give to you are:
- Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone
- use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
-Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath.
