Suggest Treatment For Mild Sensory Neuropathy & Anxiety

Hi I am 53 years of age and suffering from mild sensory neuropathy along with anxiety. My neurologist seems to think that the neuropathy is due to my anxiety disorder and has recommended nexito 10 mg. Is there a co-relation between anxiety and neuropathy and if so is it reversable?

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

In anxiety, you can have tingling sensation and numbness. Same symptoms could be possible in neuropathy also. If you have lose of sensation, then it is due to neuropathy and there is no need to give antidepressant. If you have numbness and tingling sensation, then it may be due to anxiety. In that case, there is nothing in harming nexito. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
