There are different types of treatment for patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Five types of standard treatment are used presently as follows: Radiation therapy Chemotherapy Targeted therapy Plasmapheresis Biologic therapy
New types of treatment are being tested in clinical trials. Vaccine therapy High-dose chemotherapy with stem cell transplant
Please discuss the stage and grade of the non hodgkin lymphoma you have and the treatment options other than chemotherapy that might work for you. As you are HIV positive, the treatment required might be more aggressive to prevent disease recurrence. Please do not worry.
