Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Fever

My 11 year old daughter has been sick for 6 days. She has developed what looks like tons of little ringworms. Has ran a fever from 100-103. Very very sore throat with some white spots on the back of her throat. Also, a stomach ache that does not go away. Strep test came back negative and we are still waiting on her Mono test. I feel like im getting the run around.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is necessary a bacterial culture of the throat. I agree with the test for mono too. I recommend also a stool analysis and bacterial culture of the stool. A fibrogastroscopy may be needed. You should discuss with her doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
