I am searching for the cause and treatment for sores and scabs inside both nostrils. I have had an occurence with a slight shingles attack about a month ago.The singles rash was located on my neck and was a small area. Is it possible that the shingles have attacked the insides of my nostrils? I have tried to remove the scabs as they block the nasal passages and I have a hard time breathing without doing this. Then there is bleeding which stops once I use a tissue and apply pressure. The scabbing comes back and the cycle continues. I also use an oxygen concentrator at night while I sleep for sleep apnea. I have a hydration bottle that is attached to the concentrator. I have since stopped using the oxygen concentrator in hopes that I could heal the sores, but to no avail. Would really appreciate an answer to my problem!
