Suggest Treatment For Spine Tuberculosis In Neck Region

My Name is V.Ramesh working in NAL, Bangalore. My Father has been diagonised as having Spine TB, in the neck region. Right now he is having lot of pain in the neck region, loss of grip in the hands. Also difficulty in walking.

In 2007 he has had a By Pass Surgery. ECHO tests have been done, indicating his heart is functioning normally.

I request your opinion, should we go ahead with Surgery or try out with only TB medices. Which approach would be better in removing nerve compressions.
