Hi,

Jaundice is a symptom and not the disease. It can be due to infection like viral or bacterial and another organism. It can be due to obstruction of the bile duct.

To treat the underlying cause would be the main goal, whatever the cause patient can take the light diet, semi-solid diet, with less fat, no spicy food, but the main is to treat the disease that caused jaundice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
