Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Frequent Bowel Movements
Upset stomach day after meal in restaurant. First day numerous bowel movements, second day mainly acute pain like extreme cramp. last few hours no problem. Throughout, indigestion, lots of burping. Also first day right leg near knee extremely painful to touch and intermittent acute throbbing. After first day this pain completely gone. Now PM of second day exact same pain high up on thigh of left leg, again with the throbbing!
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history related to the upset of stomach a day after food in a restaurant, having numerous bowel movements, acute pain on day 2, indigestion, burping, pain near the knee and recurrence of pain in the thighs as explained. This indicates that it may be infective diarrhea with bacteremia or septicemia leading to a possibility of the abscess in the thigh and its side effects. I would advise you the following: Consult your regular Doctor or go to ER to have clinical evaluation, examination to see the level of infection and its effects on the body, particularly the thighs. In addition you may need intra-venous fluids and electrolyte imbalance correction, antibiotic coverage and so on as per the reports of blood, stool and ultrasonography.
