Suggest Treatment For Swollen Ankle After Diagnosed By Arthritis

I have had an x-ray showing arthritis in my inner ankle which swells up daily like a big goose egg. I have a crème to put on for pain and a wear a special heel insert in my show. the pain is horrible, limping all the time. I m on my feet at work --what can I do?

I would suggest you to get MRI of the ankle to confirm the diagnosis, It can be ankle synovitis or ligament injury. According to that we can plan further management if you need ankle arthroscopy or steroid injection. We can aspirate the fluid and check it if it is rheumatoid arthritis or GOUT.
