Sustained Head Injury, Started Stuttering, Lost Memory, Headaches. How To Treat It?

i am on ssi ...i have a state issued medical card...on july 22nd i sustained an injury to the head and started stuttering...i couldnt find my words ...my memory was no longer...after 2 months it subsided...but with every headache it reoccurs ...no doctor has so much as looked up my nose or given me any test....i want to switch my doctors but maintain the meds that i am taking...do u have any suggestions as to what i should do

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.

You need detailed evaluation to establish the underlying cause and start treatment. A neurologist consultation would be useful.
We need to do the MRI of brain to make sure there is no ischemia (lack of blood flow to brain). In addition, blood tests for vitamin B12 and thyroid should also be done, as deficiency may cause memory issues.
