Swollen And Painful Bump Above Top Of Tailbone

Hi, I m writing because I have a swollen bump right over the top of my tailbone where my back meets my crack (looks like a vein ), and it s been hurting for months now, but I don t like going to the doctor and being brushed off. The reason I m writing today is because when I got up this morning, it seems that last night this swollen vein basically popped. I don t know what to do or how I should treat it or even what is is. Can you shed some light on this please? I m female 29, 5 5 , 140 lbs. have had one child.

Hello
The most common causes for bumps right over at the top of your tail could be
Pilonidal cyst
Local infected boil
Fractue of coccyx bone
You must consult a doctor and get a CT scan done to differentiate between soft issue and bone problem.
Thanks
