Taking Levothyroxine For High Thyroid Level. Heaviness In Head. Reason?
Hi I had high thyroid level since 5 months before during my pregnancy , I was talking levothyroxin 100 mcg daily, but I got 4 1/2 month spontaneous absorption . Now I am still using this medicine and level is under control, but I am feeling heaviness in my head since last 1-2 weeks. It is slight but why I am feeling heaviness in my head as I have much load on my head , please reply me
You are taking Levothyroxine 100 mcg/day which means you are having Hypothyroidism and not high thyroid level. Your TSH level may be high. Sorry to know that you had a spontaneous abortion.
Your symptoms may or may not be related to thyroid issue, please get yourself examined by Physician and proper investigations like complete blood count and thyroid function may be required.
Your heaviness in head may be due to vascular headache (Migraine) or if necessary a CT scan of head may be done to be sure there is no other pathology.
It may be related to stress and anxiety also it can be treated. Take care.
