Hi,
You have been prescribed the proper course of medication generally advised in the management of PCOD. Metformin helps to relieve insulin resistance and thereby initiates ovulation. Ovafin is Clomiphene citrate, inducer of ovulation. The treatment should be properly monitored as there is a chance of hyper-stimulation of the ovaries due to induction. Also, try to do some regular exercise and manage your weight within the healthy range. Hope your query is answered. Take care.
