Thyroid Ultrasound Done. What Does The Result Indicate?
please interpret the result of my thyroid ultrasound. Mildly enlarged right lobe and normal-sized left lobe with slight parenchymal heterogeity and hypervascularity: like signs of parenchymal disease. Thre are nodules in both lobes. Right lobe -lower-( isoechois solid, with vascularity) 0.58x0.54x0.42 Left lobe- Midportion ( cystic) - 0.25x0.17. The isthmus is not thickened. The adjacent vascular structures are unremarkable.
Hiii dear u have not mentioned the age and symptoms so please repost ur comments with full details and other investigations if any. However according ur ultrasound report increased vascularity and heterogeneity are signs of thyroditis (? infection /inflammation ) . absolute diagnosis of your disease need FNAC ( needle aspiration) of thyroid nodules.
