Tingling, Sharp Electrical Sensation In Sitting Position. No Diabetes Mellitus. Which Disease? How To Cure?
Dear Sir,
I am 35 yers old woman. I feel tingling, sharp electrical sensation during sitting position and it is relieved by standing and lying position since 2 months ago. I have no weight loss, no constitutional symptoms.I have no Diabetes Mellitus, no histroy of herpes zooster. I want to know what disease it is and how could be cured? Thanks , win.

It can be related the nerves, sharp tingling sensation mainly in a particular position and relieved by the change in posture can be because of nerve compression in that particular posture.
Are you diabetic? There are plenty of other reasons for the compressive neuropathy, particularly the chronic diseases like hypothyroidism, amylodosis,certain medications and toxins, and diabetes.
I would advise you to consult your doctor, get the preliminary blood investigations along with xray of the spine.
You may need CT/ MRI of spine to rule out spinal canal disorders or nerve compression.

Hi,
You have not mentioned the area where you feel this tingling and sharp electrical sensation in your body. Generally such kind of sensations are there when any joint or some nerve gets affected may be due to wrong postures, injury etc.
I would advise you to see an orthopedic surgeon for the same so that the problems gets attended at its initial presentation.
You can also consult Homoeopathy, it is also quiet effective.
