Good Morning Mam , I am a 45 years old , indian woman of tamilnadu in south india . I had extreme tiredness and sleepiness and was adviced to check thyroid level . Tsh was slightly above the normal level where as T3 and T4 were within the range.I am taking calcium and folic acid ( Menopace capsule ) tablets as per doctor's advice . I have DARK CIRCLES AND PUFFY BAGS beneath my eyes .Also my GUMS BLEED even on slight forced scratch by brush .Do I have any deficiency . What must i do . Please say..
Dear Ma'm, Hi! as per your statement you seem to have sub clinical hypothyroidism, I think you need to treat that. Secondly, dark circles and peri orbital puffiness can be due to vitamin D deficiency, Vitamin E deficiency and You must supplement them. Bleeding gums can be due to vitamin C deficiency, infection or due to genetics. Regards!
