Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Treatment For High Blood Pressure, Hypokalemia, Gastroparesis, High Cortisol Levels?
Ok where do I even begin. I am 19 years old and I already seeing 5 different doctors and for 2 years no one can figure out what wrong with me. I have high blood pressure, hypokalemia- due to excreting large amounts of potassium threw my urine, gastroparesis, dizziness, shakiness, have passed out multiple times and high cortisol levels in the morning and a normal low aldosterone level. Now with all of my symptoms, all my doctors are saying I m to young to have these things and there has to be a reason for it. The question is what is causing all these things to happen to me at such a young age. My mother has many of the same symptoms I do the only difference is she has low blood pressure and mine is high. She has been trying to figure out what s wrong with her for many years and she has just given up. So there is potential for a genetic thing going on here. I m trying to figure it out on my own and with all my doctors and I have gone threw so many blood test and other test like MRI s and ultrasounds. So in the end if you have any clue what could be wrong with me/ my mother please let me know. If you have any questions that you need answered to help figure it out let me know. Thank you for your time.
