Trying To Conceive. Blood Glucose Test Done. Medicines Prescribed. What Does The Report Indicate?

Hello doctor i am 24yrs old married for past 1 yr 4 months i am trying to conceive so i consulted a gyno she told me to take blood test [ for glucose fasting,TSH,prolactin;insulin assay test .i did the test and my result was
glucose fasting [GOD-POD] : 93 , TSH:2.3 .PROLACTIN : 53.8, INSULIN Assay :17.o] is my result normal and also shes given me more tablets like T.caboglin, T.obimet, myocyt, mcbm ,T.duphastin , my confusion is will these tablets help me in conceiving and also are these tablets good for me to take pls suggest me doctor i am really worried

Hi,

Your prolactin is a bit high and your insulin level is high as well. High prolactin level may prevent getting pregnant. High insulin level together with normal glucose may indicate insulin resistance that, in turn, may also interfere with conceiving.

The medication prescribed by your doctor are meant to correct your problems and I strongly recommend taking them.
