hi sunil.welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.inj TT is given after snake bite to avoid tetanus.some times cellulitis developed at the site of injection.proper antibiotic solves the issue most of the times.drainage may be required.
Hi,
Inj TT can be given to such patients but from what you are describing patient either has early cellulitis or a abscess. If the lump is localised and resembles an abscess then I&D will be necessary. But if the whole limb is affected by cellulitis(which is a bacterial infection )then pt will need to be admitted and given iv antibiotics.I suugest a surgeon take a look at the pt to determine the extent of damage.
