Ultrasound Done, Shows Uterus, Endometrial Cavity Measurement, No Gestational Sac, Cervix Length, Corpus Luteum In Left Ovary. Any Abnormality In Report?
My ultralsound report suggest that my uterus measures 78*52*45 and the central endometrial cavity measure 17.5 mm.It is seperated by hyper echoic lesion with increased vascularity. and there is a corpus luteum of 17mm in left ovary. No gestational sac is present in central uterine cavity .The length of the cervix is 33 mm. Is there any problem in this report?
The ultrasonography report suugests thet the endometrial cavity is dilated and is filled with amass which has a good blood supply.
However, this mass is not the gestational sac.
Gestational sac is the sac which contains the embryo and then fetus.
Thus, if are expecting a pregnancy, there is no sign of pregnancy.
However, there is some other mass in the endometrial cavity.
The character of tis mass needs to be known.
An endometrial curettage can be preformed in which the contents of the uterus are removed and examined microscopically.
Consult your gynecologist with the report for further management,
Thanks ansd take care.
