Hi,
Duphaston contains dydrogesterone, a progestogen. It is usually given for luteal support in IVF protocols and to prevent preterm births but is not indicated in pregnancy according to pharmacological studies. Ultra sonographic findings are usually deceptive in early pregnancy until done by the trans-vaginal route and also under high resolution. You should talk again to your doctor before consuming the medication as the benefits may out weigh the risks and your doctor is the better judge. Most often, sonographic findings get back to normal within a couple of weeks even without any medication and with watchful expectancy. Good luck.
