Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Pricking Sensation In Fingers, Abdominal Pain. Treatment Options?
Hi my son has had the sickness bug & I have been throwing up all day. I have stopped being sick but have the runs. I have all of a sudden come across really sick again I have cramping in my fingers & pins & needles everywhere including my mouth. I have a really bad pain just under my ribs in my stomach . Feel like I m gonna pass out!
This is a very good question and I will work on providing you with some information and recommendations.
It seems like you have developed a moderate case of gastroenteritis. At this time it also appears that you might be mildly dehydrated. When you have illnesses such as this you can also lose a significant amount of electrolytes including potassium and calcium.
I would suggest that you obtain a hydrating beverage that has not only water but also electrolytes including calcium and potassium. If you're not able to consume this beverage you will need to report your local emergency room for intravenous fluid hydration.
i believe most of your symptoms are due to mild dehydration.
Thanks again for sending your question.
