If i am stood up i cannot any longer and will sit down or lay down straight away. 8/10 times after this i black out and do not remember much of what happened. it started off just once in a while but is now happening about 4 times a week (on a good week) and about 9 or 10 times on a bad week. please help.
Hi!
welcome to HCM!
Dizziness, lightheadedness, and the feeling of passing out is a common complaint in people who have low blood pressure. When the blood pressure is too low, not enough oxygen-rich blood is being delivered to the brain, and its function can be affected. If the brain's blood supply is decreased too much, the person may pass out (syncope).
Low blood pressure may be the result of an underlying illness or it may be a normal physiologic condition. Some common reasons for low blood pressure include the following:Anemia ,Bleeding,Dehydration (loss of water in the body) OR use of certain medication.
You must get yourself examined, get your hemoglobin and blood pressure checked and have plenty of fluids.
hope this will help you
take care!
