Weight Gain, Swelling Around Feet, Doing Regular Exercise. History On Dengue. Suggestions?

Hello,
I had dengue in October 2012, my platelets when down to 4000. 4 units of platelets were transferred. Now I am ok. but for past 3-4 months there is an increase in weight gain and swelling around the feet. I am basically a very active person and do exercises to keep myself fit. But this time even due to exercise the weight gain still persists. I am 40 yrs. female. please help

Thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum.
Since you are very active but in spite of this there is increase in the weight particularly after DENGUE episode.
So once again get in blood examination for C B C, E S R, Liver Function Test, Renal Function Test , sugar , lipid profile.
In anemic patient there develops swelling over dependent part as ankles or feet.
Due to hypo-proteinemia ( loss of protein) there may be swelling on these parts.
Get in urine examination for any sugar or albumin passing or pus cells.
Kidney is the main organ to be examined .
