Hi, I m Ashwini Joshi from Pune. Age: 38 yrs Height: 5 feet weight: 65 kg Exercise: walking for 3 km 5 days a week (either on trademill/on road) Medical history: Very regular menstruel cycle. I am very much fit from childhood, was thin yet with good stamina to work all the day. I had bus accident around 15 yrs back(while I was 23 yrs). lost three fingers between toe and little finger of one foot and multiple fractures . After that I kept working as Information Technology professional. I m married and having a child of 13 yrs. Family life is good and supportive. Doing good with my job too. While pregnant put up weight upto 70 kgs, however till 2005-2006 I was 55kgs again. During last 5 years observing slow weight gain and now 65. Contraceptive method: cooperT Daily food habits: 1. Chyawanprash+Gulkanda+1 cup Milk between 6-6.30 am, then exercise (walk or other pgysical) 2. 0.5 small cup tea at 7.30 am 3. breakfast between 9.30-10.00 am (homemade Upama, Pohe, Shira, thalipeeth - one plate) + 1 cup tea 4. Lunch-tiffin at 12.30-1.00 pm (home cooked vegetable+one chapati daily, + one small bowl curd+sugar twice a week) 5. Small bowl snack-homemade 4.00-5.00 pm(murmura-bhadang/chivda/1 laddu/chakli/fruit) + one cup tea 6. Dinner 8.00 pm (Dal-Chaval+ green salad+buttermilk-chaval) Questions: A. Please suggest For weight reduction (I should be between 50-58 kgs i.e. to reduce almost 10kgs) I was thinking to go for Medari capsule+Syrup. Isn t drug packed as tablet better than in capsule? Your earlier reply suggest to add trifla guggul. However, Medari capsule and syrup do contain triphala and guggul right? Still need more suppliment? B.
