What Are The Possible Treatments Post Hystorectomy ?
I had a complete hysterectomy April 29 and recovered well. I am not taking hormones. The past 3 days I have had a headache that began late morning and lasted until early evening. I m wondering if it could be hormone related. I ve never had migraines but this is drvivng me crazy!
This headache does not seem to be hormone related. It appears more anaesthesia related? Were you operated under spinal anaesthesia? After that, few days later such head ache is known. Report to your surgeon and he/she will take care best. After general anaesthesia also such type of head ache is there due to so called 'hang over pain'. But it would not appear after so many days. Till you get your surgeons opinion, you may try some pain killers. They will give you relief. If still the pain persists, your surgeon will take care. May be this pain does not have to do anything with your surgery and/or anaesthesia. It could be due to common cold which will be relieved by pain killers. If you are not feeding yourself properly, the resulting low sugar levels also can give rise to head ache. Take care of your nutrition. I hope I have given you proper guidance.
