What Are The Reasons For Having Recurring Palpitations?
I am having palpitations that come and go. I am having one now but it will go away. Sometimes I don t have one for weeks and other times it may come on 2 or 3 times a week. I take deep breaths and try to relax sometimes it work and some times deep breathing does not work. What can I do?
Hi. welcome to HCM. Palpitations mos of the times are not serious, but rarely they might be related to abnormal heart valves, heart rhythm problems, or panic attacks. Discomfort associated with this is the main problem for patients. Follow somw steps to avoid palpitations like 1.avoid stressful situation and try be calm, 2. avoid coffee, tea, chocolates, 3. keep away from smoking and alcohol, 4. Avoid medications that act like stimulants, such as cough and cold medicines or decongestants. I also suggest u to consult a doctor if it is disturbing u a lot and he might prescribe u some medications. Wish u good health. Regards.
