What Are The Side Effects Of Mirena IUD?

I am wanting to get pregnant. I took my Mirena IUD out (which I had for 2 years) 5 weeks ago and have not started my period, and just took another pregnancy test today and I'm not pregnant. Prior to IUD I had fairly regular periods. I got pregnant with my first child very very easily. Please let me know when I can expect my period or if there are complications or waiting period following the mirena removal in order to get pregnant? Thanks.

hi,you can take tab regestrone 10 mg twice a day for 5 days and then wait for a week to get your periods.it will take a 2 months or so for your cycles to regularise and become ovulatory.once ovulation returns to normal there will be no problem in concieving.all the best and take care.
