What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Hip Arthritis?
I am a senior in high school. My sophomore year, I was injured during softball season. I pulled or strained both hip flexors. The problem hasn't gone away and has only gotten worse. I have looked at different things and I'm wondring if I might have hip arthritis or if it is still just my hip flexors?
well generally an injury should recover sooner or later. however if the problem is not going away, you should definitely look at other things like arthritis. better to see a specialist and maybe get some imaging done.
Hello, I have studied your case and I think that you might be having soft tissue injuries in the hip joint and it is not due to hip flexors as you are thinking. I would suggest you to get MRI of the hip joint . This will confirm the diagnosis. If there is any labral tear than you will need arthroscopic labral repair. Some time there can be inflammation of the hip joint and it can also be cure through hip arthroscopy. Please share your MRI report with me. I will try my best to help you.
