I'm a 36yr old female and have been overweight(79 kg) all my life (the only exercise i did was walking and was not very regular with that). 6 months back while playing tennis, i had severe in the right leg (left leg doesn't disturb). X-ray showed that the knee cap had dislocated(grade 1) in both legs. I tried exercising and took precautionary measure to not bend the knee. Since there was no relief, I took an MRI and found that there is not ligament injury and only that water had filled in the right knee. My orthopedic doctor prescribed pain killer and said just there is nothing wrong and only aberrations in the knee cap is causing pain. I recently watched a TV program and the doctors were discussing about rheumatoid arthritis.
My history is as follows. I have knuckle pain the right hand, swollen fingers, swollen face, cervical spondylitis, plantar faciatis(every day morning my right heel hurts very bad, slowly it is fine after sometime. I complained to my orthopaedist several times about this but he doesnt listen and ignores it ), severe pain the right shoulder, constant swelling and pain in the back of the right knee. Also I have unexplained feverish feeling for the past one year(could not be diagnosed, but the thermometer shows normal temperature, but the skin is clearly warmer)
I am wondering if my condition is rheumatoid arthritis.
