my mother 49yrs, non diabetic non hypertensive was suffering from menorrhagia for 2yrs.she used to respond well on regestrone.she had a d&c and a punch biobsy from the cervix along with mirena insertion on 4th f april this year..path report came out to be non ovulatory endometrium & non specific cervicitis with no evidence of malignancy..1wk later she started bleeding which continued for 1month though it ws not severe...after it stopped for 1month.then again started and this time it didnt stop unless her gynac prescribed regestrone 5mg bd..within 2days of taking regestrone the bleeding stoped..she continued the medicine for 21days and started having periods after 3days and this time the amount is more than she used to have previously..i wanna know what may be the cause of her increased bleeding and what will be the further management?
