What Caused Nausea And Vomiting With Sore Stomach?
I have had 3 sudden onset of nausea and vomiting followed by really sore stomache. Today I bent over to pick up paper off floor and I got severe pain in my chest. I still have discomfort and burning in my stomach. Wondering if might have an ulcer?
I understand your concern. Regarding your symptoms it seems like you are having gastroesophageal reflux. Which means that your stomach content returns to your oesophagus or even upper to your mouth leading to vomitting. The pain you feel is a result of stomach acid which is not a normal content to the oesophagus and causes irritation. Normally, there is a sphincter which prevents the returning of stomach content, but in your case this sphincter doesn't work properly, and this is the reason why you felt pain in your chest as you bent over. My suggestion is to visit a gastroenterologist, specialist for this condition to make proper examination to get appropriate medication.
Until than you can take inhibitor of proton pump (for example omeprazolum 20 mg once a day, maximum 40 mg). Try also to avoid eating late at night and sleeping in a totally horizontal position and generally avoid eating big meals. I hope this answer was helpful to you.
