What Causes A Green Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?
I m 20 weeks pregnant - this is my second pregnancy. The entire pregnancy I have been having a lot of discharge, most of the time resembling mucus. Tonight I used the restroom and when I wiped it was a big glob of slightly greenish mucus- it looked exactly like my mucus plug did with my first pregnancy. I also tested positive for group B strep, which worries me if something is possibly wrong with my cervix. I m wondering if I need to worry or go to a hospital, or if this is normal.

First of all worries aside...its nice to know that you are expecting your second baby ...and you are in your second trimester.I can understand about yourconcern regarding vaginal discharge.Having discharge is very common during pregnancy,but most of time it is white mucous plug.But in your case ..it is greenish in color,.might be due to strep.So ,you must discuss it with your ongoing gynecologist.
