Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. It is good that despite your severe
head injury, you are able to do your routine activities.
This crackling movement might be due to fractured bone edges rubbing each other while you were running. This movement is micro movement. It occurred due to running. And this sound was appreciated by you due to the
bone conduction of sound to both ears.
Another reason could be due to some collection in
soft tissue on right side at injury site. Movement of fluid while you were running caused this sound.
I am giving you some tips to relieve pain and this sound
: Avoid straining activities for 2-3 weeks till all external swelling disappears.
: You can apply icepacks at injury site if no wound.
: Avoid lying on right side.
: You can take
Diclofenac sodium or any other anti-inflammatory drug after proper prescription.
: Any fracture needs approximately 3-6 months to completely heal. Take good protein rich diet.
Thanks. Hope it will help you. Take care.
