What Causes Abdominal Pain And Hematuria While Suffering From Back Injury?
Hello, a few weeks ago i sprained my back in a boating incident, 4 days after the sprain i began getting stomach pains and then i started to pee blood it is painful too, i don't know what to do or what it is i would like you to help me i am of female gander.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read the history and understood your problem.
The history of an injury to the back in a boat and starting of hematuria (blood in urine) after 4 days is indicative of trauma to the kidney.
I would advise you the following : - Admission to the hospital. -Urgent ultrasonography of the while abdomen. -Tests of blood: Blood group as you may need blood anytime, CBC, kidney function tests. -Urine: routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity. -CT Scan and intravenous Pyelography to see the status of the kidney. -Rest of the treatment under the guidance of the Urologist.
