What Causes Brown Discharge During In Take Of Yasminelle?
Hi. I started taking Yasminelle three months ago, everything OK. Now I'm on the 3rd week of the pack (just 5 pills left) but I suddenly started having brown blood, a bit more than just spotting, and it feels just like when I'm having my period. Should I skip the rest of the pills or finish the pack? I will call my doctor tomorrow to probably change contraceptive.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe , it appears to be the breakthrough bleeding, usually comes during the course of the contraceptive pills. May be due to the anemia, infection, or with out any cause. You have to continue the course of the 5 days pills, and then give a gap as usual. And then start the next course. I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, hematinics, and supporting drugs. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
