Hi,
Small clots are not to be worried about as the blood retained for a longer time in the vagina before it gets discharged usually gets clotted. If the clots are larger and associated with pain, you need to get examined by a gynecologist to see if everything is well with the device and also to exclude hormonal imbalance as well as pregnancy. A trans-vaginal sonogram, blood counts and urinalysis may be required. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
