What Causes Diarrhea,bloating And Itching In Palms After A Hernia Repair?

Hi, I just had a surgery done an hernia repair done two week ago. I've been very nauseated, diarrhea, lack of appetite, and my stomach got bigger, it looks as if I'm 6mos pregnant. 3 days ago my palms and soles has been itching me so severely with no rash. No fever. Any idea??

Hello,

The possible causes to be checked are:

1. Check for hernia repair site infection or mesh infection
2. Paralytic ileus
3. Acute bacillary dysentery
4. Food intolerance
5. Viral flu et cetera

Get once again examine your hernia repair site, get blood investigation done. Drink soft food, and avoid spicy food and alcohol.

Use tablet Sporulac thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
