hi i consulted for jock itch, and was prescribed nizral cream. after applying for 2/3 weeks, skin reddened there. doctor told i got sensitized to it. asked me to stop all topical and given me medrol 4mg & lmx forte, 2 doses per day for 1 week. we tapered medrol. after a week i was getting small bumps in my face which gone away after 2/3 days. now i am getting lot of red dots in my skin, it is also dry.
You seem to suffer from fungal infection..tinea cruris and you use steroids. This is totally wrong treatment. Steroid may cause various side effects including redness on the skin. So stop steroid in any form in fungal infection.
