General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
thanks for using health care magic.

If your husbands neutrophils are high, it implies he is having a bacterial infection.
Bacterial infections are treated with antibiotics for which the bacteria are sensitive to.

Calpol is an anti-fever medicine, it helps to reduce the fever but does not cure it.
Ciplox is an antibiotic, a broad spectrum but your husband might not be sensitive to it.

The right thing to do is get a blood culture, with other lab test as deem necessary by a doctor such as urinalysis with culture, cerebospinal fluid analysis etc.

Hope this helps
best regards
