Hello Dr. I had a question regarding the foul smell my saliva has. I was wondering what would cause it and how to cure it. My Dentist says my oral healthcare is great, tongue and gums are all healthy. My breath doesn t smell. I find when I lick my hand, I can smell how foul my saliva is. Diary products do not neutralize the smell but when I eat a carrot, it neutralizes the smell but for a short period. I m not sure if it s acid reflex. I would really appreciate any assistance.
