Hi there,
I am Dr. Deepak, I work in Emergency Department, where I see many patients with injury to their head. As you mentioned you had injured your head 6 months, and had a large egg bump. The swelling went away.
I feel you had sustained minor injury to your head, I can say that as
1. you didn't had any dizzy feeling.
2. You didn't had
vomiting even though you had
nausea.
3. You didn't loose consciousness.
4. You didn't had feeling any
numbness or weakness of any one side of your body
5. You didn't had any blueish discoloration around your eyes and behind the ear
6. You didn't had any trouble with walking.
And the most important thing is you were pretty much okay after few days of injury.
As your are experiencing headache and getting
eye pain, along with floaters and flashes of the corners of your eye now since few weeks.
I feel your present problem is not connected with with your
head injury. There can be multiple causes of your headache which started few weeks back and as you told your pain in the eye, It will be better if you could show an eye specialist, so that he can examine and let you know if its the eye problem that is causing your headache. If You doctor tell your eye is okay, then it can be a type of
migraine, for which you need to show an
neurologist. You can feel the dent as the bone has bent inwards, it is not a problem as it heal within 1-2 months after the injury.
Thank you
Hope your concern was dealt with and hope that you have a speedy recovery.
