What Causes High Esr Level With Diabetes And Hypertension?

Hi I have an Aunt who is 56 years old and has type 2 diabetes, hypertention, arthiritus, asthma but all this is controlled and surpressed by medication and insulin along with diet. Recently, she has had a test and the ERS came back 85 but all other test HB1ac, cholesterol, aneamic all came back normal. Can you tell me why she would have such a high level?

ESR is erythrocyte sedimentation rate. it is non specific marker for inflamation. it has nothing to with other normal test references. as your aunt has arthritis it is one type of inflamation of joint. because of this arthritis it comes higher. thanx and regards healthcare magic.
