What Causes Lack Of Vaginal Lubrication During Sex?
My boyfriend and I are going through troubles because I am having trouble with producing vaginal lubrication. I told him that it could come from my daily stresses at home, work and school. He now believes I am not turned on or interested in him anymore when that is not the case. When the time does come to have sex I am in the mood and totally for it but my vagina just wont produce enough lubrication to get wet, I feel I have a real medical issue but I am young so he feels that, thats not the case and that I am just not into him anymore. Please help! What can I do?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is true that stress has its effect on many things, including vaginal lubrication secondary to sexual arousal. Yet, you may also get an evaluation for possible hormone imbalances and get them corrected. You can use hormone supplements or patches or vaginal tablets if needed. K-Y jelly is also helpful in increasing lubrication. Above all, please try to destress yourself through counselling, meditation and medication. Your partner also should be counselled into understanding your difficulty and helping you to overcome it. Take care.
