What Causes Nausea And Tingling In Hands And Fingers?
Hi, I have an under active thyroid which is currently medicated with Levothyroxine (150mcg) Recently I ve been some strange symptoms including head and ear pressure, pain behind my right ear and at my temples, numbness and tingling in my hands and fingers and tingling in the right shoulder just under the shoulder blade. As well as gastro issues such as nausea and gas. I ve had these symptoms for the last few months, getting worse in the last few weeks. My GP just keeps saying I m stressed and that I just have to put up with it as it s normal to get these symptoms with hypothyroidism and has been giving me painkillers such as Tramadol (this caused me to itch severely so I stopped taking these) and I feel like I need some answers. I m not stressed about anything - except these symptoms which I feel are getting worse. Sometimes I also get blurry vision - had a recent eye test and my eyesight is normal. I also have started to notice that I can t eat some foods without feeling sick such as bananas. Are these normal symptoms for someone with my condition? Is there something else that could be the problem? Thanking you in advance for your help.

Hello, As per your history, it may be due to nerve compression at cervical spine level. For further assessment you may require MRI neck, nerve conduction studies, vitamins B12 levels after consultation. For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen and tablet ondensetron.
